Rise to the Charity Challenge
To help you reach your goal of running a Marathon, Rise is offering a few lucky men and women the chance to take up their 2010/11 Charity Challenge.

This challenge consists of three races, building in distance, from either 8k or 10k in autumn through a half marathon in early spring and culminating in the Brighton Marathon in April 2011.  You can choose your first run – either the Rise Undercliff Run or the Brooks Brighton 10K.

Rise 8K Undercliff Run for Women – October 17th 2010
Running from Saltdean along the beautiful expanse of the sea, enjoy the camaraderie of running with 400 other women to raise money for refuges and domestic abuse services in Sussex.

Brooks 10K - 21st November 2010
This is the 27th year of the Brooks Brighton 10K.  A popular run with over 3,000 runners.  A great start to your Marathon campaign.

Sussex Beacon Half Marathon – 20th February 2011
The largest half marathon in the South East of England, join 8,000 other runners in a fantastic circuit of the city.

Brighton Marathon - 10th April 2011
The Brighton Marathon has sold out of places. Taking the Charity Challenge will guarantee you a special charity place in this brilliant event.  Join with 15,000 other runners to take the ultimate challenge.

What do we expect from you?
If you decide to take this challenge we expect you to:
•  Commit to raising a minimum of £750 (excluding gift aid) over these three events.
•  Pay a £100 deposit (returnable if the £750 fundraising total is achieved)
•  Run like the wind....
