16 Days of Activism Against Gendered Violence activities

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gendered Violence is a UN initiative to galvanise action around ending violence against women and girls - worldwide. It's at the heart of what we do at RISE, so we have a full calendar of activities as part of it, starting on November the 25th.

We're delighted to have activities everyone can get involved in this year to help RISE keep it's vital support services going, for families affected by domestic abuse.

RISE Drum Out Abuse march

The drum out abuse march was a success! We made a LOT of noise around Brighton! We called for an end to domestic abuse, as well everything that keeps gendered violence thriving - like toxic masculinity, domestic abuse service cuts and rape culture. Don't forget to hashtag all your posts from the day or about the day with #DrumOutAbuse including your photos of the day! If you couldn't make it, there's plenty of other ways to get involved beneath:

16 Days, 16 Ways for you to Fundraise for RISE

All the inspo you need is in our fundraising pack for the 16 Days... Don't forget to post pictures of your events online with the hashtag #RiseFor16Days
