The iDrop Challenge is not for the faint hearted - the iconic British Airways i360 is an amazing 450ft tall with spectacular views across the city and the sea.

Rest assured that those courageous enough to take up the challenge and go over the edge will be looked after by highly trained staff keeping you safe every step of the way.

We ask all participants to pay a registration fee of £95 and commit to raising £500.

Restrictions

RISE and British Airways i360 descent participants must:

  • Make a payment of £95 registration fee
  • Commit to raising £500 for the event
  • Be over 14 years of age (parental consent required if under 18).
  • Be over 1.2 metres in height.
  • Be less than 19 stone (120kg) in weight.
  • Be able to wear a harness which has a maximum width waist of 130cm and a maximum upper thigh width of 75cm.
  • Not be suffering from any medical condition that may put your health & safety, or that of others, at risk.
  • Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Sign a declaration before participation.

Please note that this is not an abseil, it is a controlled decent called the iDrop.
