To fill a gap whilst we restructure RISE wishes to secure a short-term (around 6 months) consultancy arrangement to take forward key tasks related to strategic leadership of quality and business development.

RISE is looking for a highly successful strategic thinker to work closely with the CEO on business development and quality for RISE at a critical point in our development. They should have knowledge and/or experience of working to feminist principles in the women’s sector and a track record of senior leadership in quality, business development, income generation, communications, and contract management; including quarterly reporting to funders and commissioners.

Key tasks include:

  • Write high level funding bids and tender documents
  • Write high level options reports and contribute to proposals
  • Research, evaluation and monitoring analysis
  • Organisational development
  • Service review, planning and project management
  • Quality Assurance and standards review and development
  • Equalities and Diversity impact planning
  • Partnership working
  • Policy review and oversight
  • Working with the Head of Client Services and Managers to oversee the management of RISE contracts, service level agreements and grants including managing sub- contract arrangements and quarterly, six monthly and annual reporting
  • Creating new and diversifying Income generation opportunities; developing and rolling out new project.
  • We would require any interested applicant to be available for around one/two days a week based in our Brighton office with mostly remote working. Hours are negotiable and we would consider a split consultancy arrangement.
