Georgie and her sons Lucas and Hugo have very kindly donated 70 Advent Calendars (thoughtfully including plant based), a stack of chocolate selection boxes, and toy footballs and striped scarves, for the clients and their children at RISE.

These will be distributed to some of the children in the children and young people's groups and to the women and LGBT people who use RISE’s services.

Donations like this mean so much to us and to the people we work with. Everyone wants to give their children the best Christmas they can, including women and children who have fled violence and abuse. Leaving means leaving everything - a favourite duvet, the corner of the sofa that was 'theirs' - gifts like these bring a bit of normality to a disrupted world.
