Roedean will also be entering a team into the Schools Shield competition. The competition premiered in 2022 and is an opportunity for all schools in Brighton and Hove to get involved in our run and be in for a chance of winning the Schools Shield trophy.

“Participating in the women’s only RISE 8k, to raise awareness and funds for domestic abuse is a powerful opportunity for us at Roedean to stand together in compassion and solidarity. It fosters a sense of community, reminding our students that they are part of a collective force for good.
By engaging in this meaningful challenge, our girls are not only showing support for such a valuable charity but also discovering their own strength and capacity to make a difference. This experience empowers them to be courageous, compassionate leaders who uplift others and speak out against injustice.”

The RISE 8K Undercliff Run for Women is taking place on Sunday 12th October, along the Undercliff path, Saltdean. All proceeds go to the charity RISE, supporting the vital work that we do in the community.
