Fundraising

Be a real life hero and fundraise as much as you can for RISE. Here's how.

Please note, the initial price of entering the race only covers the costs for the event itself; so when you enter the Heroes Run we will need you to also raise money yourself through fundraising or sponsorship.

All money raised for HEROES RUN 2020 will go towards helping those who are affected by domestic abuse. We are asking each runner to raise a minimum amount of £20 to fund RISE's vital services. Think that's easy? Great! If you can raise more, every bit extra will help.

Starting your heroic fundraising

When you sign up to the HEROES RUN, you'll automatically get an online fundraising page made for you and sent to you via email. This is super-simple to edit and personalise (we strongly suggest you personalise it with your story and a photo - it will help you get more donations!) and is directly linked to the charity and the run.

Prefer a paper sponsorship form? (Kids often love collecting physical money!) Please email [email protected]. This can be handed in to the race desk on race day.

Ways to maximise your fundraising (don't forget there's a prize for top fundraiser! 🏆)

  • Why not share your fundraising page with friends and family on Facebook & Twitter
  • You could email it around your colleagues at work
  • You could raise extra funds by holding a bake sale - or other small events which you can find details about here

By raising money for RISE your sponsorship will help us help victims of domestic abuse.

All the money raised will go towards helping women and families who have been affected by domestic abuse in East Sussex.

So, grab your mask and cape. Put your pants on over your trousers. HEROES Assemble! Up, up and away!
