Fundraising

Once you've got your place, it's time to personalise your sponsorship page and raise for RISE! Find out more beneath.

Your registration fee covers the infrastructure of the event, such as the cost of your medal, equipment hire etc, so in order to raise funds for our vital work we ask participants of the event to set up a fundraising page.

If fundraising isn’t your thing you are very welcome to make a direct donation instead, which you can do by clicking here.

We are asking each runner to raise a minimum amount of £20 - but of course we appreciate every penny!

As you probably know, it has been a difficult year for RISE as we lost our contract to offer refuge and case work. However, we are still offering essential prevention and recovery services, such as our one-to-one adult and child therapy and our LGBTQ+ refuge, and will continue to work with survivors to pioneer to new and innovative ways to support them on their recovery journey. You can find out more about our future plans here.

To start fundraising...

When you sign up to the RISE 8K, you'll automatically get an online fundraising page made for you and sent to you via email. This page can easily be personalised and edited to reflect your own personal story, as well as providing space to upload a photo. Doing this can boost sponsorship for your run!
