Homeopathy is a complementary therapy that treats the whole person taking into account all mental, physical & emotional symptoms. It is safe, gentle & effective for all ages, including in pregnancy. Mental health concerns such as anxiety & depression are amongst the commonest reasons people seek homeopathic help.

What should I expect?

When you first see a homeopath, they’ll ask you about any specific health conditions, as well as your general wellbeing, emotional state, lifestyle and diet.

Based on this, the homeopath will decide on the course of treatment, which is usually a homeopathic remedy in the form of pillules or a tincture.

Your homeopath will recommend that you attend one or more follow-ups to assess the remedy’s effect on your health.

Homeopathic remedies can be safely used alongside conventional medicine, have no side effects and are so gentle that they are even suitable for new-born babies and breastfeeding mothers.

Common reasons that people seek homeopathy at RISE include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Sleep problems
  • Allergies
  • Skin problems (eczema, psoriasis etc)
