Other ways to give

Perhaps you could raise a few quid for RISE while you do your online shopping, give through eBay or take a collection tin into your local business? Find out other ways to give beneath.

Collection Boxes

Could you find a space for a RISE collection box, to help us raise much-needed cash?

We have collection boxes which we would like to place in your local business to collect loose change. If you have counter space at your business, or your local pub or newsagents that could take customers' loose change, please contact us on the form below.

Amazon

A practical and very personal way to help families staying in our refuges.

Families staying at our refuges need new bedding, kitchen equipment and other equipment. If you would like to donate much needed items you can do this direct via our Amazon Wishlist scheme.

Our wishlist contains a range of items from bright bedding and toys for children through to lighting and cutlery. There are also gifts for residents for birthdays and special occasions.

If you enjoy shopping on Amazon this is an easy and much appreciated way to give.

Simply browse the items in our wishlist on Amazon, select the items you want to donate and how much you wish to spend.

Please don't forget to write a gift certificate with your donation so that we know who to thank.

Amazon Smile

You can now choose RISE as a charity on Amazon Smile. All you have to do is click here and select R.I.S.E as your chosen charity. Every time you buy an item Amazon will make a small donation to RISE.

Click here for Smilematic, a free Chrome extension that will automatically redirect you to Amazon Smile whenever you shop so you don't have to worry about typing it in.

eBay

If you enjoy buying and selling items on eBay you can donate to RISE while you shop using eBay for Charity.

eBay for Charity is a way for both buyers and sellers on eBay to support us.

When you list an item on eBay you can select RISE as the charity you want to support and the percentage of the sale you want to give.

You can also add Gift Aid to your donation.

When shopping on eBay you can support RISE by buying items marked with the eBay for Charity ribbon, or by making a donation when you pay for an item through eBay Checkout.

Every eBay for Charity item is marked with a blue and yellow charity ribbon in search results and in the item listing title. The listing gives the name of the benefiting charity and the percentage of the final sale price the seller is donating.

Gifts in Kind

Gifts in Kind are another way of supporting the work of RISE. Instead of giving us money you donate goods and equipment.

If you would like to donate this way please get in contact by emailing [email protected] to check and items suitability and if we need it.

Please note that we generally can't accept used goods or adhoc items without immediate need. Sometimes we do have a need for a specific piece of equipment such as a pushchair or toys for a specific age group. When this happens we issue specific appeals on our Facebook or Twitter pages.
