Women’s Aid runs an online Survivors’ Forum which is a safe, anonymous, space for women (over 18) who have been affected by domestic abuse, to share their experiences and support one another.

The forum is not for seeking advice on behalf of a third party, and it isn’t a direct help service. But many RISE service users have found it extremely helpful to connect with other survivors, to both ask for and give understanding words and advice, and just to speak to other people who know exactly how they're feeling.

You can access the Women's Aid Survivor Forum here.

“I use the Women’sAid forum because it’s about people getting you, no matter where they are. It’s great to be able to post about feeling low and have ten people reply straight away with kind responses. It’s also been helpful to ask for advice about things like child contact.”
