Our Helpline will be closed from 7pm on Wednesday 14th December until 9.30am on the 3rd January as our staff take a break over Christmas.

Rise Christmas Helpline Closure

The Rise Helpline Service will be closed over the Christmas period.

Our last Helpline Session of 2022 will be Wednesday 14th December, 5.00pm-7.00pm

The first Helpline Session in the New Year will be 3rd January, 9.30am – 12.30pm  

We know that the Christmas period isn’t ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ for everyone – there is other help available.

  • If you are in immediate danger, or need urgent support and advice call 999 and ask for the police.
  • If you can’t speak and are calling on a mobile press 55 to have your call transferred to the police. Find out how to call the police when you can’t speak.
  • Call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247 24 hours a day for free, confidential advice in England in emergency or non emergency situations
  • National services are also available in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
  • If you are in Brighton and Hove, you can contact the Domestic Abuse Team at Victim Support on 0300 323 9985

The answerphone is being monitored .You can also email [email protected]. Outside of working hours and on bank holidays, the housing advice line will automatically redirect to the night duty officers
